Shelley Reys AO is a Djiribul woman of far north Queensland, CEO of Arrilla Indigenous Consulting and Partner of KPMG. Shelley was the inaugural Co-Chair of Reconciliation Australia and board member for ten years, during which time RA launched the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) program and helped to deliver Parliament’s apology to The Stolen Generations.
Her work in the reconciliation and Indigenous spaces spans 28 years. Arrilla has been the leading provider of Indigenous cultural competency services, broad consulting projects and RAP support for the Australian workforce for nearly three decades.
Shelley is known for leading large conversations of national importance. She was named by Westpac and the Australian Financial Review as the ‘100 Women of Influence’ and in 2012, was awarded the ‘Officer of the Order of Australia’.
Her vision is “to create a culturally competent Australia, one workplace at a time.”
